Study how to coat Zinc Oxide Nano which methods give the most effective ways.

How to Coat

Summary of Test Results

The experiment shows that Ex. 4 contain the most Zinc quantity, so it is concluded that Ex. 4 is the most effective method. Soaking white woven fabric in ZnO Nano 2000 ppm dispersant for 1 hour, Zinc Oxide will best bond with cellulose fiber in cotton most.

Pad-dry-cure Method

  1. Soak cotton in ZnO (2 %) dispersant+ Acrylic binder (1 %) 5 min.
  2. Put cotton through Padding machine for speeding 15 metre/min. with pressure 15 Kgf/cm2
  3. Through dry machine and cured for 3 min at 140 °C
  4. Soak fabric 5 min inSodium lauryl sulfate 2 g/L to wash off ZnO nano
  5. Rinse off with water for 10 times
